The Prophet of Islam said, “When a person does good to you, try to recompense him. And if you cannot recompense him, then pray to God for him.” (Sunan Abu Dawud, Hadith No. 5109) p. 42hadith

It is gentlemanly behavior that when another person does a good deed to you, you should do good to him in return. If you aren’t able to do so, then you should make the best prayers to God for him. p. 42
